Welcome to 'Simpsons September'! Somehow or another, I managed to make a Top 5 list for each season, from 1-10. These lists were established back in January, upon doing a 'Simpsons' marathon. It was an extremely difficult task. Some might even dub it "impossible", but I made it work... at least based on my taste. But there's a few things I should probably mention.
1- No 'Treehouse of Horror' episodes are ever listed, as they are non-canon, annual specials.
2- No clip show episodes are ever listed. Some of them are very good, but I had to eliminate something else. None of them would have ever made these lists anyway.
3- Unlike 'South Park' September, there are no "honourable mentions" here. It's a flat 5 favourite episodes. If I got into "honourable mentions", we'd be here all day.
4- Tastes are bound to vary here. These are episodes I've selected based on the ones I got the most out of, still get the most out of, and therefore recommend. It's not a "best ever" list so much as a "favourites" list.
