11/02/22 - I have finally made the decision to give myself the time necessary to regroup, and figure out how to work out a whole new format here. There is good news and bad news that comes with this... but it's mostly good.
The bad news is that this ultimately means I am cancelling all material for the rest of 2022 - and yeah, that includes the 2022 Christmas Special. My plan is to completely "clean slate" this blog of mine, and I have already started working on some of the new pages I have coming. Listed below is the general idea of what I have coming. |
REVIEWS
"Now Playing" will no longer have a set schedule, and will come in the form of a Podcast, approximately one day after I see the respective film. "Streaming Reviews" will be done the same way, but with far more flexibility as far as when the podcast is posted. "Under the Radar", "Screening Suggestions" and "Catching Up" are all going away, but I do have some unofficial ideas for some article sections, including a much better-kept "Top 10 List" page. The biggest idea here is to veer away from a set schedule for anything and go with the flow. As a friend told me - quality over quantity.
SPECIALS
I AM going to make sure my established Specials stay put. However, some Specials will now include the Podcast format as well as written ones. I also plan on going through past specials and cleaning them up a bit. Things like my "Ghibli Catch Up" and various pages in the "Slasher Zone" have unfinished material, and I'd really like to do some house cleaning on those.

All of the Information pages are staying as is. "Box Office Top 10" updates will be every Monday, and "Trailers" will be updated Fridays, and will be THEATRICAL trailers only. It's much easier to keep track of. I plan to edit the "Review Index" accordingly, as I'm not planning on getting rid of any of my previous written material. Updates will likely be the first or last of every month.
