Note: The following timeline is meant to represent the original series of films only. I tend to consider the reboot to be a stand-alone re-imagining of the basics of the series, recapping parts 1-3. The following timeline is also largely guesswork, as there is no exact continuity to this series. Other sources may reinterpret it different ways, but this is how I see it.

- Unknown date, Summer - Pamela Voorhees becomes Camp Crystal Lake's cook
- Friday, September 13th - Jason Voorhees presumably drowns in Crystal Lake, after being bullied, while the camp counselors weren't paying any attention
- Friday, June 13th - The opening events of 'Friday the 13th' take place with the murders of two camp counselors, Barry and Caludette. The murders are at the hands of Pamela Voorhees, who is taking revenge for her son's death.
- Birthday - Unknown Date - Alice Hardy ('Friday the 13th', 'Part II')

- Unknown date, Summer - An attempt to reopen Camp Crystal Lake is prevented by a case of poisoned lake water. The camp is nicknamed "Camp Blood", and believed to be cursed, according to locals.

- Unknown date, Summer - 17-year-old Chris Higgins is attacked by Jason Voorhees, after having a fight with her family, and running into the woods.
- Thursday, July 12th - Saturday, July 14th - The events of 'Friday the 13th Part II' take place
- Saturday, July 14th - Monday, July 16th - The events of 'Friday the 13th Part III' take place
- Sometime during this weekend, Rob Dier ('The Final Chapter') learns of his sister, Sandra's ('Part II') death, and vows revenge on Jason
- Monday, July 16th - Wednesday, July 18th - The events of 'Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter' take place
- Jason Voorhees dies at the hands of Tommy Jarvis, and is buried in the Eternal Peace Cemetery
- Following the events of 'The Final Chapter', Tommy Jarvis is traumatized, and spends the next few years going back and forth to institutions for mental health.
- Town officials change the name of Camp Crystal Lake to Camp Forest Green, in an effort to distance themselves with the Voorhees murders

- After the most recent murders, Camp Forest Green changes its name back to Camp Crystal Lake
- Saturday, October 13th - 10-year-old Tina Shepard realizes that she has telekinetic abilities when she accidentally buries her father under a dock.
- Summer - 13-year old Rennie Wickham ('Jason Takes Manhattan') is attacked by Jason, under the water, when her uncle is abusively teaching her how to swim. This traumatizes her for years to come.
- Friday, June 13th - Sunday, June 15th - The events of 'The New Blood' take place
- Unknown dates in May - The events of 'Jason Takes Manhattan' take place
2000's +
2003
- Thursday, June 12th - Friday, June 13th - The events of 'Jason Goes to Hell' take place
- Unknown dates, Fall - Freddy Krueger finds Jason in Hell, and resurrects him so that he can make the kids of Springwood fear him again, giving him more power to come back.
- Sunday, September 14th - The events of 'Freddy vs Jason' take place
- Jason is captured by the Crystal Lake Research Facility, and convicted of at least 200 murders (meaning many more have died between films, making Jason's actual body count a wild guess)
- Friday, August 13th - Jason Voorhees is cryogenically frozen during the opening of 'Jason X'
